As the growth of the Bonnie Kate Theater continues, some of the region’s youngest performers took to the stage Saturday to do their part to help with the renovations of the theater.

Youth with the theater’s drama and musical theater classes recently held a double feature of sorts over the weekend to help raise funds for improvements of the roof at the facility. The drama class performed “Wild, Wild Folk Tales” while the musical theater students performed “screen test” for double features in the afternoon and evening — which were met by capacity crowds during both showings.
