Amber Nichole Caldwell Lash

Amber Nichole Caldwell Lash, 28, of the Stoney Creek Community in Elizabethton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at her residence. Amber was born in Elizabethton to Hope Harrison White, of Elizabethton, and the late Jeffery Caldwell. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Farrell and Linda Harrison, and her paternal great-grandparents, Andy and Ethel Shoun.
Amber was a homemaker and attended Poplar Grove Baptist Church. She loved writing, coloring, horses, and most of all she loved her children and spending time with them.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother and step-father, Hope and John Paul White of Elizabethton; her husband, Chris Lash of Elizabethton; her two children, Joey Caldwell and Faith Lash, both of Elizabethton; two step-children, Justice Lash and Bradley Lash, both of Elizabethton; her brother, Matthew Caldwell and wife Mary of Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Joy Harrison and fiancé Dustin of Elizabethton; her paternal grandmother, Linda Shoun of Elizabethton; her paternal grandfather, Chad Ellis of Elizabethton; her aunt and uncle, Traci and David Blackburn of Elizabethton; her step-grandmother, “Granny” Peggy Shoun of Elizabethton; her step-aunt and uncle, Janice and Robert White of Virginia; and her cousins, Josh White of Elizabethton and Warren White of Virginia.
A service to celebrate the life of Amber Nichole Caldwell Lash will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Pastor Eric Wright officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5:30 until 7 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service, or at the residence of Hope and John Paul White at any time. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, in the Shoun Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Michael Duffy, Dustin Turner, Brett White, Travis Nidiffer and Jason Peters. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, at 1:15 p.m. Sunday to go in procession.
