A popular attraction is now in full effect in Historic Downtown Elizabethton. From all across the region, car enthusiasts are taking full advantage of the 2018 Carter County Car Club Cruise In season. The mainstay continued with high numbers over the weekend as the season — which lasts until fall — featured its second Cruise In of the year. The event takes place each weekend, pending weather, and is open to the public. During the evening, shops open to cater to attendees and funds are raised to benefit local children’s charities in the community.
