Kids Like Us reaps rewards of inaugural golf event

Just a few months removed from its grand opening in Elizabethton, the Kids Like Us Community Learning Center has continued its push to give back to the public. Over the weekend, the organization and service community members spent time at the Elizabethton Golf Course for the inaugural Kids Like Us Golf Tournament. Backed by several businesses, election candidates and civic organizations, Kids Like Us was able to show their support during the fundraising endeavor. All proceeds from the event were used to benefit the operations of the center. Several events are on the horizons to help the center’s growth to serve the Tri-Cities.
