Soulful tunes from the ’70s and ’80s flowed through T.A. Dugger Junior High Saturday as Blue Fox Band rocked the stage inside the school’s auditorium to help Relay For Life of Elizabethton/Carter County. Kathy Thomason, media relations chair with the local chapter, added Saturday’s event proved to be a success with approximately $4,200 being raised for the American Cancer Society. Volunteers are continuing to put in work as they prepare for the annual Relay For Life event, scheduled to take place Friday, June 22, from 6 p.m. to midnight at TCAT – Elizabethton.
