Nakia R. Shipley, 36, of Elizabethton, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on May 2, 2018.
She leaves behind her two children, Makayla Lambert and Tyler Guinn.
Survivors also include her mother, Tammy Draper; grandparents, Beth and Kenny Pierce; three sisters, Tonya Houghton, Sonya Shepard and Christy Neece; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a loving mother and true friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. May you rest in peace our beloved Nakia.
Services will be held Monday, May 7, at 7 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church.
