CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Central Community Christian Church.
There will be a time of fellowship after the preaching and worship service.

First Christian
Morning worship Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will begin at 9:45 a.m. The message will be presented by the minister, Michael Klaus.
The communion meditation will be given by Gene Estep, and scripture will be read by Tim Broyles. Frank Shepherd will present special music.
Bible School classes will meet at 11 a.m.
There will be no evening service Sunday.
The Ladies Bible Study Group led by Paula Manning and Ashleigh McCloud will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m.
The Tuesday morning prayer group led by John Smith will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the sanctuary.
Men of the church will attend the Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship Tuesday evening at Central Christian Church.
The Wednesday evening Bible Study will begin at 6 p.m.

Sinking Creek
The Bloom Ladies Conference will be held Saturday at Sinking Creek Baptist Church, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and continuing until 3 p.m.
Guest speakers are Jennifer Satterfield and Sherry Moneymaker. Topics are forgiveness, commitment, your potential and talents, unity/sisterhood, and fearfully and wonderfully made.

Caldwell Springs
Celebrate Recovery will begin each Tuesday at Caldwell Springs Baptist Church, beginning May 15.
The weekly meeting will include a meal, a worship service, and Celebrate Recovery step studies.
Helping in the ministry are John Colbaugh from Riverview Baptist, Danny Williams from Lynn Valley Baptist, and others.
Doug Hinshaw is pastor.

Hopson Chapel
Sounds of Victory will present special singing Saturday at 7 p.m. at Hopson Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 601 Tiger Creek Road, Roan Mountain.
The Rev. John Harrington, pastor, and the congregation invite the public to attend.

Cove Creek
Revival will begin Monday at Cove Creek Community Church, Roan Mountain.
Services will begin at 7 p.m. The prayer room will convene at 6:45 p.m.
The evangelist is the Rev. Dean Presnell, pastor at True Gospel Baptist Church.
Special music will be presented at each service.
The Rev. Tim Hughes is pastor.

Unaka Baptist
The Brotherhood at Unaka Baptist Church will have a country-style breakfast Saturday from 7 to 10 a.m.
The menu will include biscuits, gravy, eggs, two kinds of sausage, bacon and hash brown potatoes. Other items are available on request.
Cost is $7 with proceeds going to the church building fund.

Immanuel Baptist
Vacation Bible School at Immanuel Baptist Church will take a new direction this year. The first session will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Ensuing sessions will be held each Wednesday throughout the spring and summer from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Lunch will be provided Saturday.
The theme of the VBS is “Time Lab: Discovering Jesus from Eternity Past to Eternity Future.”

New Liberty
New Liberty Freewill Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School beginning Sunday, May 13, and continuing each evening through Wednesday, May 16.
Classes will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. There will be classes for all ages.
The church is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road next to the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.
The Rev. Ray Colbaugh is pastor and the Rev. Nick Colbaugh is associate pastor.

Elizabethton
Church of Christ
A gospel meeting will be held May 13-17 at the Elizabethton Church of Christ, 137 East C St.
Services will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m.
The theme of the meeting is Cross Talk with Jim Roberts as the guest speaker.
Everyone is invited to attend.

First Presbyterian
Dr. Brian Wyatt, pastor, will deliver the sermon Sunday at morning worship at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton. His message is entitled “Holy Conversations,” and the scripture text is Eccl. 1: 16-18; 12: 9-14.
The service begins at 11 a.m.
An education hour for all ages is at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; the Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday. The group is currently reading The First Paul by Marcus J. Borg and John Dominic Crossan.
Yoga is Friday at 10 a.m.
