Unaka Baptist
A fish fry — all you can eat — will be held this evening at Unaka Baptist Church from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Everyone is invited.

Riverview Baptist
The Rev. Jamie Ferguson will be the evangelist for a revival beginning Sunday at Riverview Baptist Church and continuing through Wednesday. Services Sunday will be at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Monday through Wednesday services will be at 7 p.m.
Ferguson is pastor at Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church in Bluff City.
The pastor at Riverview Baptist is the Rev. Mark Grubb, who invites everyone to attend.

First United Methodist
Pentecost Sunday will be celebrated May 20 at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton. The pastor, the Rev. Raymond W. Amos, Sr., will present the message “Can I Get A Witness?” based on the scripture, John 15 and 16.
The worship service is at 9:55 a.m. followed by Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and the Senior High Ministries Sunday from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m.
The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The Wednesday evening Bible study will be at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have a song service featuring the Knight Family Sunday at 6 p.m.
The church is located at 820 N. Roan St. (Blackbottom).

First Presbyterian
The Sunday sermon at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will be presented by Emily Morrell. The sermon based on Acts 2: 1-21 is titled “Pentecost: New Beginnings.”
The service begins at 11 a.m. An Education Hour for all ages will be at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday. The group is currently reading The First Paul by Marcus J. Borg and John Dominic Crossan.
Yoga is Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.
