Lynn Valley Baptist
Lynn Valley Baptist Church, 1367 Broad St., Elizabethton, will begin its monthly clothes closet Saturday, June 2, from 9 to 11 a.m.
Clothing will be available to all ages for men, women and children.
The clothes closet is held in the church annex.

Crabtree Free Will
Crabtree Free Will Baptist Church, Roan Mountain, will begin a revival June 4, with services each evening at 7 p.m.
The evangelist is Scotty Jenkins from Buladean, N.C.
Everyone is invited to attend and bring their family, neighbors and friends.
There will be special singing at each service.

Holly Springs
Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School June 4-8 with classes each evening from 6:30 to 8:30.
There will be classes for all ages.

First United Methodist
“Watching Jesus” will be the sermon for the Sunday morning worship service June 3 at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton. The sermon text is Mark 2: 23 – 3:6.
The morning service is at 9:55 a.m. followed by Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.; the Senior High Ministries, Sunday from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The Wednesday evening Bible Study is at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Poplar Grove
Recovery Soldiers Ministry will speak and share their testimonies Sunday at the 11 a.m. service at Poplar Grove Baptist Church.

Upper Gap Creek
Chris and Larey Pippin will present special singing Sunday, June 3, at the 11 a.m. worship service at Upper Gap Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
A love offering will be received.

First Christian
Sunday is Jackie Brumit Scholarship Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton. Brumit was a young minister from the church, who died early in his ministry.
The service will begin at 9:45 a.m. and will feature a message by the minister, Michael Klaus. The communion meditation will be given by Jonathan Baker, and scripture will be read by Leslie Brockley. Sharen Taylor will present special music.
Bible school classes will meet at 11 a.m.
The evening service begins at 6 p.m. with Minister Klaus speaking. There will be classes for children and youth.
The Ladies Bible Study Group led by Paula Manning will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The Tuesday morning prayer group led by John Smith will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Ladies circles will meet Thursday.

Stoney Creek Baptist Church, 1843 Highway 91, will have Vacation Bible School June 10-15. Classes will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Hopwood Christian Church, located on the campus of Milligan College, has changed is Sunday service times for the months of June and July.
Services on Sunday morning will include Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and the worship service at 10:30 a.m.

Laurel Fork Ministry will have a community yard sale Saturday, June 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be several vendors and inflatables for the kids, as well as food.

CBM Open House
An open house and picnic for the Children’s Bible Ministries at Watauga will be held June 2 from 1 to 6 p.m. Camp activities begin at 1 p.m. and will include pool, zipline, climbing tower, gym, octoball, canteen, and more.
A picnic supper will be served at 4 p.m. in the gym.
Those attending are asked to bring a paper item to help with summer camp. Items needed include paper towels, bathroom tissue, paper napkins, foam plates, plastic ware, etc.
Summer camp begins June 4.

First Presbyterian
Sunday’s sermon at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will be presented by Vickie Phillips. The service will begin at 11 a.m.
An Education Hour for all ages will be at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; the Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until noon; and yoga Friday at 10 a.m.
