Charlotte Jean Estep Donnelly, 80, of Elizabethton, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, after a brief illness.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Roger and Eliza White Estep.
Charlotte was a 1955 graduate of Unaka High School and a retired Dental Assistant. She was a member of Dungan Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Allen Donnelly and James Roger Donnelly, and a sister, Sue Fletcher.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Donnelly; a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Michael Hilton, Dallas, N.C.; a grandson, Richard Sean Donnelly, Mooresville, N.C.; and a brother, Larry Wayne Estep and wife Judy, Elizabethton.
The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Friday, June 15, at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held in the Garland Cemetery with the Rev. Eric Heaton officiating. Active pallbearers will be Larry Estep, Eddie Speer, Gary Street, Sean Donnelly, Henry Clay White and Dick “Ken” Estep. Honorary pallbearers are Dallas Williams and Glen White.
