James Gordon Hendricks Jr., 67, of New Jersey, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Hendricks was a native of Little Rock, Ark., and the son of the late James Gordon Hendricks Sr. and Edna Earl Purcell Hendricks.
Mr. Hendricks retired as the owner/operator of Title License Producer. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Special Forces with the U.S. Army. He enjoyed golfing, swimming, playing poker and playing with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Williams Hendricks, and one sister, Susie Hendricks.
Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Michelle Berish and husband Thomas Jr., Elizabethton, Tenn.; a son, James Gordon Hendricks III and wife Ashley, of New Jersey; and six grandchildren, Bryan, Adam, Madison, Nicholas, Jasmine and Joseph. Four brothers, two sisters and several nieces and nephews also survive.
