Wiley Abraham Lambert

Wiley Abraham Lambert, 91, of Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton after a brief illness.
A native of Butler, he was a son of the late William and Bessie Stout Lambert.
Mr. Lambert was a retired pipefitter with Bristol Metal. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David “Red” Harmon and McKinley Lambert, and one sister, Frances.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Lambert and wife Darlene and Ray Lambert; two daughters, Cathy Blevins and husband Robert and Judy Burrow; six grandchildren, Jordan Lambert, Jamie Lambert, Michael Burrow, Jimmy Burrow, Tracy Blevins and Bobbie Renee Blevins; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Wiley Abraham Lambert will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, July 13, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eric Brown officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, in the Ellis Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, will be Roger Lambert, Ronnie Lambert, Earl Harmon, Michael Burrow, Jimmy Burrow, Jamie Lambert and Jordan Lambert. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence of a son, Robert Lambert, 130 Duke Drive, Elizabethton. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
