Anthony Howard Guinn

Anthony Howard Guinn, 60, of Hampton, Tenn., went to be with his Lord after a long struggle with cancer, surrounded by his family at home, on Monday, July 16, 2018. He was the son of Blanch Adkins and Earl Guinn. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Freddy Guinn, Jack Guinn, Jimmy Guinn and Wayne Guinn, and one sister, Bonnie Humphreys.
Anthony had worked as a tele-optics worker and was a member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Hampton. He loved to ride horses and motorcycles and loved classic cars.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Beverly Guinn; his son, Robert Campbell and wife Kristin; his daughter, Jennifer Campbell; a step-daughter, Christa Hughes and husband Troy; a step-son, Scott Fleenor; seven grandchildren; a brother, Richard Guinn; and two sisters, Bernice Rolland and Teresa Street. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A service to celebrate the life of Anthony Howard Guinn will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at Harmony Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Young officiating. Music will be under the direction of the church. The family will receive friends at the church from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service, or at the residence at anytime. The graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19, in the Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Richard Guinn, Robert Campbell, Troy Hughes, Rick Hyder, Roger Ellis and Chris Grindstaff. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the church at 11:30 a.m. Thursday to go in procession. The family would like to especially thank Amedysis Hospice and Anthony’s nurse, Lori, for the love and care given to Anthony during his illness and also to Pastor Brandon Young.
