Lisa Lynn Martin Stanley, 58, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, August 20, 2018, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital after an extended illness.
A native of Detroit, Mich., she was a daughter of the late Arthur K. and Dorothy Ruffin Martin.
Prior to her illness, Lisa was employed by Ask A. Nurse. In earlier years she had lived in several areas of the country.
Lisa was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton, and the College & Career Sunday School Class. She loved sports, the beach, vacations and especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Frank T. Stanley; two daughters, Christina Harding and Megan Wolfe and husband Robert, all of Elizabethton, and Casey Hensley, who was like a daughter; her grandchildren, Kya Harding, Teddy Orton, Draven Harding and Colten Wolfe; her brother, Steve Martin and wife Linda of New York and their children, Kellie, Angie and John; and a very special friend, Jennifer Stark.
A memorial service celebrating Lisa’s life will be conducted at noon Saturday, August 25, at the First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton, with Pastor Nathan Jennings officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 a.m. until noon Saturday. It was her wish to be cremated. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
