A Celebration of Life for Gloria “Joan” Elliott will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Brick Christian Church, 815 Watauga Road, Watauga, TN 37694.
Gloria “Joan” Elliott, 77, of Elizabethton, passed away at the home following an extended illness, on Thursday, August 9, 2018.
She was born to the late Golden “Toad” and Mary Nave of Elizabethton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Elliott; four siblings; and one son-in-law, William D. Roark, Jr. “Boone.”
She was a member of the Christian Church and a retiree of Snap-On Tools.
Survivors include: daughter, Martha Elliott Roark and her son, Jacob Roark, of the home; son, Edward H. Elliott; and daughter, Karen Elliott Campbell and husband Mitchell Campbell. She also has six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and three other siblings.
A very special thank you to Amedisys Hospice Staff including her nurse, Emily White, Teresa “TC” Campbell, Jerry, Shelly and Debbie. The most caring and loving bunch who have been a true blessing.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony to be announced and will be held at Brick Christian Church, Watauga, Tenn.
