Ronald Steven Kent, 69, of Elizabethton, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Elizabethton on November 29, 1948.
Ronald was retired as a maintenance worker. In earlier years he loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Stoney Creek Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Campbell, and a younger brother, Tony Kent.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Treadway Kent; his children, Ronnie Kent and wife Cathy, Tommy Sams and wife Kristi and Guy Sams; four grandchildren, Jonathan Kent, Mickey Campbell Jr., Christina Campbell and Dustun Sams; one great-granddaughter, Kaytlin Campbell; two brothers, Bud and Dave Kent; and his mother, Arlene Kent.
A memorial service for Ronald Steven Kent will be conducted at 5 p.m. Thursday, September 20, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Bud Kent and Mr. Eddie Craft, ministers, officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at his residence.
