Logan Blake Andrews, 25, of Elizabethton, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Logan was preceded in death by his grandfather, D.L. Andrews, and a cousin, Mason Montgomery.
Logan was a member of Pearces Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
He was the son of Tim and Kim Andrews of Elizabethton. Logan held a special bond with his older sister, Whitney, and his younger sister, Bailey, who he referred to as his “Little Buddy,” and his dog, Paisley. Logan was the grandson of Byron and Judy Milhorn of Elizabethton and Betty and Joe Colvin of Elizabethton, and the great-grandson of Ellen C. Hyder and the late Fred Hyder Sr. Several cousins survive with special cousins, Destini Milhorn and Dustin Milhorn and his fiancée, Karter Geagley, and his son, Sage Milhorn, and Andy Montgomery and Peyton Brown, all of Elizabethton. Several aunts and uncles survive with special uncle and aunt, Craig and Kristi Milhorn. Special aunts, Missy Ward and Jenny Montgomery. Special great-uncles include Jim Andrews, Walter France Andrews and Pete Andrews.
Funeral services for Logan Blake Andrews will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, October 7, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Stevens and the Rev. Mark Potter officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at noon Monday, October 8, in the Andrews-Tester Cemetery, Butler. Active pallbearers include Craig Milhorn, Dustin Milhorn, Andy Montgomery, Lucas Andrews, Michael Lunsford, Dylan Ward, Curtis Carden, Billy Berry, Brandon Hodges and Andy McGuire. Honorary pallbearers include the Hampton High School 2006-2010 Football and Basketball Teams, members of the 2013 Babe Ruth State Championship Team, HHS 2010 Graduating Class, J.C. Campbell, Doug Phillips, Mike Lunsford, Tim Chambers, Jeff Bradley, Danny McClain, Jerry White, Mike Matheson, Scotty Bunton, Jake Jenkins, David Brumitt and Jerry Conway. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. You may visit the family at the home of Judy and Byron Milhorn, 154 Earl McKinney Road, Elizabethton, at anytime. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Sycamore Shoals Hospital, Johnson City Medical Center with a special thanks to Dr. Siv.
