Roy Lynn Roberts, 53, of Roan Mountain, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born October 22, 1964 in Banner Elk, N.C., and had lived his entire life in Roan Mountain.
Roy was a graduate of Cloudland High School and attended East Tennessee State University. He was a construction worker.
Roy was a member of First Baptist Church, Roan Mountain.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Roberts.
Survivors include a daughter, Bennett Roberts, Johnson City; his mother, Jeanelea Roberts, Roan Mountain; one sister, Karma Morgan, Roan Mountain, and her children, Hannah Morgan and Madelyn Morgan; and one aunt, Bertie Putman.
