Elizabethton Church
of the Nazarene
Elizabethton First Church of the Nazarene, 200 W. I St., will have revival Oct. 24 through Oct. 28. Services will be at 6 p.m.
The evangelist is the Rev. Brian Nave.
Homecoming will be held Sunday, Oct. 28, with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship at 10:45 a.m. Rev. Brian Nave will preach, and special music will be presented by No Name But His. Following the service, lunch will be served.
Everyone is invited.

Zion Baptist
Zion Baptist Church, 1982 Gap Creek Road, will have a fall festival Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m.
There will be inflatables, games, food, trunk or treat, a cake walk, and much more for all ages. In case of inclement weather, the festival will be scaled down and events will be held in the fellowship hall.

First Christian
Minister Michael Klaus will continue his sermon series “Jesus Speaks!” at morning worship Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton. This Sunday’s sermon is titled “Philadelphia: Hold Fast,” and is based on Rev. 3: 7-13.
The service begins at 9:45 a.m. with Dr. David Mills as worship leader. The communion meditation will be given by Jonathan Baker. Gene Estep will read scripture and special music will be presented by Deborah Knapp.
Bible school classes will meet at 10 a.m.
Minister Klaus will speak at the 6 p.m. service and music will be provided by John Smith.
The Tuesday morning prayer group led by John Smith will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the sanctuary.
The Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer service will be at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Heartland Fellowship
Heartland Fellowship Church, 211 Heartland Way, will have a fall festival Saturday, Oct. 27, from 5 to 8 p.m.
There will be games, a costume contest, prizes, crafts, and free hotdogs, drinks, cotton candy, chips, popcorn and candy.
Everyone is invited.

West Side Christian
West Side Christian Church will have a yard sale fundraiser Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the church pavilion.
All proceeds will go to the church van and youth fund.

Friendship Free Will
Friendship Free Will Baptist Church, Hampton, will have revival Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. with the Rev. Glenn Poston as evangelist.
Revival services will also be held Sunday, Oct. 28, at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. with the Rev. Dexter Brummit as guest speaker. Following the morning service, a pastor appreciation lunch will be served.
The revival will continue Nov. 4 at the 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. services with the Rev. Frank Woods as evangelist.

Siam Baptist
Siam Baptist Church will have its 145th homecoming Sunday, Oct. 29, with Dean Smith as guest speaker.
No Name But His will present special music Sunday, Oct. 21, at the 11 a.m. service.

Unaka Baptist
Unaka Baptist Church will have homecoming Sunday with Hunter Greene as guest speaker for the morning service. Special music will be presented by Bre Fagan.
The morning service will begin at 10:30 a.m., after which lunch will be served.
There will be no evening service.

First Free Will
The Rose Ministry at First Free Will Baptist Church will have a fall bazaar Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Floyd Center.
There will be vendors, baked goods, apple butter, nuts, and a silent auction for gift baskets.
Lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include choice of beans, cornbread, coleslaw, or corndogs and chips. Both include drink and dessert.
Among the vendors are fried apple pies, Paparazzi, Plunder, Mary Kay, crafts, hand painted canvases, dolls and collectibles, Vintage Christmas, antique glassware, Essential Oils, Thirty-One, and much more.
Everyone is invited.

Beck Mountain
Chosen Road will present special singing Sunday at Beck Mountain Baptist Church at the 10:45 a.m. service.

Poplar Grove
Sacred Journey will present special singing Sunday, Oct. 28, at the morning service at Poplar Grove Baptist Church, Stoney Creek.
A soup and sandwich fundraiser lunch will follow the service with all proceeds going to the youth.
Trunk or Treat will be held Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m.

First United Methodist
First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, will celebrate United Methodist Women Sunday at morning worship at 9:55 a.m. Guest speaker Terri Parker will present the message “Jars of Clay” based on II Cor. 4: 7-15.
Sunday School begins at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:12 to 5:25 p.m.; the Senior High Ministries will meet from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. Coolagers meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The Wednesday evening Life Lessons will be at 6 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.

First Presbyterian
Bill Kirkwood will lead worship Sunday morning at First Presbyterian Church, 119 W. F St., Elizabethton. His text will be Ps. 108: 1-5 and Ps. 23.
The worship service begins at 11 a.m. An Education Hour is at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday; Exercise Class Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.; and yoga from 10 a.m. to noon Friday.
