Bobby Gene Roberts, 62, Elizabethton passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 31, 2018. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Arnold Bob & Ruth Henegar Roberts. He was a 1976 graduate of Happy Valley High School. He served in the United States Army. Bobby was employed as a Roofer. He attended Upper Gap Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons: Matthew (Britney) Roberts and Justin Roberts both of Elizabethton.  Three Grandchildren: Isaac Grayson Roberts, Clay Michael Roberts and Deninlee Roberts.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2018, in the Lyons Cemetery with the Rev. Dale Blevins officiating. Burial will follow the service. Active Pallbearers will be: Matthew Roberts, Justin Roberts, Jerry Tester, Bryant Vines, Jeff Brumit, Phil Tester and Anthony Richardson.
