Ms. Brenda Ann Stone, 72, of Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018, at her residence.

Brenda moved to the Tri-Cities area from Gastonia, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Earnest Ray Farmer and Zelda Belle Biddix.

Brenda attended Northeast State Community College. She had over twenty years of service for the State of Tennessee.

After she retired her favorite past time was watching daytime soaps. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends

Brenda was a member of Y Freewill Baptist Church in Johnson City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph “Joey” Stone.

Survivors include: five daughters, Sara McCall, Robin McCall, Lisa Arp and her husband David, Samantha Watson and her husband Possom and Crystal Vitale and her husband Dominick; one son, “Brother” Herrin; one sister, Debra Lutz; twenty-one grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two nephews

The family of Ms. Brenda Ann Stone will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM Sunday, November 4, 2018, in the Monte Vista Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 PM with Rev. Scott Greene officiating. The graveside committal service will follow, in the Monte Vista Memorial Park.  Active pallbearers will be: Brother Herrin, Dominick Vitale, D.J. Watson, Dalton Carter, Possum Watson, Christopher McCall, Michael Herrin and David Arp. Honorary pallbearers will be: Justin Cutshaw, Eric Cass, Rick Cutshaw, Ian Lutz, Darrel McCall, Jordan Messer, Eric Cass and Rusty Thomas. Chris Hughes will provide music at the graveside.
