Rena Depew Warren Tester

Rena Depew Warren Tester, 61, of Johnson City, Tenn., went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in the arms of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Steve and Stella Depew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steve “Cokey” Depew.
Rena was a Dietician and a Home Health Worker and was of the Christian faith. She was an easy spirit always kind and generous, and loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching a good movie.
Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Adam and wife Saundra Warren of Fall Branch and Joseph and wife Constance Warren of Bluff City; three brothers, Buck Depew of Bluff City, Randy Depew of Johnson City and Billy Depew of Bluff City, two sisters, Carolyn “Susie” Depew Taylor of Elizabethton and Rhonda Williams of Bluff City; four grandchildren, Torrey Warren of Bluff City, Dallas Warren, Andrew Warren and Joseph Warren, all of Fall Branch. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Shana, Angie, Carolyn “Sissy,” Chelsie, Daniel, Kevin, Kelly, Amanda, Marie and Ricky; and one special friend, Tina Carrier.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, November 12, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City Chapel, with Dr. Dwight E. Hobbs officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 3 p.m. The graveside service will be conducted following the service. Pallbearers will be Daniel Taylor, Dallas Warren, Andrew Warren, Joseph Warren, Torrey Warren and Danny Duncan. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. The family would like to give a special thank you to Carolyn “Susie” Depew Taylor for all her love and support and also to Randy for his love, care and all he has done for her.
