Sidney “Troy” Smith, 68, 244 Wilbur Dam Road, Elizabethton, died unexpectedly in Nashville on Friday, November 9, 2018.
He was born January 31, 1950 in Pine Bluff, Ark.
Survivors include his wife, Flo Smith; three children, Troy Smith, Betty Mack and Kenny Smith; two step-children, Angela Baack and Ronny Presnell; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers, Rodney Smith, Carl Smith, Bill Smith and Elwood Smith; one sister, Joyce Pahl; his best friend, Kenny Merritt; and his dogs, Dixon, Dancer and Daisy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Eloise Smith, and two sisters.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
