Frank Robert Iiames

Frank Robert Iiames, 83, of Hampton, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Hillview Health Center. He was born March 31, 1935 to the late Kenneth Milton and Edna Frock Iiames in Lima, Ohio.
Frank served in the United States Korean Conflict and was a retired school teacher after 31 years of service at Milton High School, Milton, Fla. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Fla., and his Master’s Degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, Mich. He had lived in Carter County since 2000 and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Johnson City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Hutton Iiames.
Survivors include his children, Velinda Iiames Reyes and husband Alexander Reyes, (Lance) Paul Iiames and wife Christy Mann-Iiames, David Anthony Harley, who was like a son, and Kimberly Root, who was like a daughter; a granddaughter, Ashleigh Chappelle; grandsons, Lance Iiames II, Michael Sims and wife Jacqueline Marie Sims and Mitchell Iiames; and one great-grandson, Atlas Gray Chappelle.
It was his wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
Memorial Funeral Chapel is serving the Iiames family.
