Linda Vierheller Hill Moore

Ms. Linda Vierheller Hill Moore, 77, of Elizabethton, passed away December 12, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her children.
Friends and family will be received at the home of Brian and Brenda Hill, 1219 Broad Street, Elizabethton, on December 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Linda was born in Dover, Ohio to the late William and Verna Mae Vierheller on November 14, 1941. She lived most of her life in Florida and Tennessee. She was a loving mother and enjoyed more than anything being with her family and friends. She had a love of life and travel and enjoyed spending time in Cherokee. Linda was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed listening to old Country songs and her favorite gospel hymns.
She is survived by daughter, Barbara Millsaps and husband Gary of Spruce Pine, N.C., son, Darrell Hill and girlfriend Amy Campbell of Roan Mountain, Tenn., son, Brian Hill and wife Brenda of Elizabethton, Tenn., and daughter, Carol Hill Nelson and husband Rick of Palm Harbor, Fla.; a sister, Beverly Sullivan; Aunt Joanne Van Aistyne; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; nieces; a nephew; and cousins, as well as life-long best friends, Lois Hutto and Carolyn Vierheller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Ray Hill, husband, Richard L. Moore, and brother, William “Bill” Vierheller.
Linda was a fun, feisty lady. Her strength, courage and spirit will forever be engraved on our hearts.
In a final, selfless act, Linda chose to utilize Restore Life USA for research in hopes of finding a cure for various diseases.
