Vincent Paul Little, 24, of Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly at his residence January 1, 2019. He was born September 2, 1994 in Kingsport, Tenn. He was the husband of Kristin Mathes-Little and the son of Mark and Tonda Little.
Vincent was a graduate of Elizabethton High School, Class of 2013. He was a member of “The Betsy Band” drumline as first snare. He was chosen as Captain his senior year for his amazing talent and dedication. He graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology in 2015 with his degree in Practical Nursing where he met the love of his life. He currently worked at State of Franklin Health Associates as a float LPN. He loved everyone he worked with and was passionate about helping others.
Vince’s oasis was the outdoors, being in nature made him feel a peace that nothing else could. One of Vince’s many passions was fishing. He was a partner in the Mathes-Little fishing team that fished in local tournaments. He enjoyed hunting and had shot his first eight point deer this season. His other favorite outdoor activities included hiking, hammocking and kayaking.
Vincent and Kristen were married at his most loved spot on the lake, September 22, 2018. The memories of that day will be forever in her heart.
Vincent leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Kristin Mathes-Little; parents, Mark and Tonda Little; his twin brother, Shaun Little; brother, Gary Scalf; uncles, Mike (Serena) Little, Patrick Little, Jimmy and Freddy Charlton; his little Nanny Clara Scalf; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Greg and Teresa Mathes; brother-in-law, Jagger Mathes; sister-in-law and husband, Jeanna and Nathaniel Brewer; niece, Novalee Brewer; nephew, Stetson Brewer; and several special cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel.
