Richard “Dickie” Riddle, 65, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019, at Johnson City Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born March 19, 1953 in Jeffersonville, Ind., to Hellen and James Riddle. He was a lifelong resident of Carter and Unicoi counties in Tennessee.
Richard’s passion in life was his music as an excellent musician and singer. He always encouraged others to pursue their passions, especially if it was in music. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling. He worked several years at White’s Grocery in Erwin.
Richard graduated from Hampton High School and attended Baptist Bible College in Nashville.
Dickie loved the mountains in East Tennessee. His ashes will be spread at a later date.
