Jacob Paul Tester

Jacob Paul Tester, 37, passed away January 1, 2019 in Petersburg, Va., from complications of diabetes.
Jacob was a lifelong resident of Elizabethton, Tenn., and a 1999 graduate of Elizabethton High School. He attended Tennessee Technology Center and worked in the HVAC industry, but was an artist at heart.
Jacob is survived by his precious daughter, Rylee Tester, and his ex-wife, Tia Hughes. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Jackie Pannell, Elizabethton, and Bob Pannell, Ketchikan, Alaska, as well as his paternal grandparents, Charles and Virginia Tester, Elizabethton. Additionally, Jacob is survived by his mother, Jane (Tester) Evans; father and step-mother, Ken and Sue Tester; sister, Sarah Tester McNabb; brother-in-law, Shawn McNabb; and niece, Emily McNabb, all of Elizabethton; one aunt, Kathy Tester, Elizabethton, and two uncles, Keith Tester, Dover, Tenn., and George Pannell, Ketchikan, Alaska.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
