We are the champions—T.A. Dugger junior varsity girls capture conference championship

It took two games and a lot of sweat, but the junior varsity girls of T.A. Dugger were up to the task and when the smoke cleared the Jr. Lady Cyclones stood alone at the top being crowned the conference champs after defeating Robinson by the score of 34-17 and then turning around to hand Liberty Bell the deciding defeat by a 23-17 score in the conference tournament.

In the first game of the night, T.A. Dugger was just too much for Robinson as the Jr. Lady Cyclones doubled up their opponents 34-17.

Marlee Mathena led TAD with 10 points in the contest. Reiley Whitson also had a good offensive outing hanging 8 points on the scoreboard for TAD.

Mollie Johnson and Abbie Crigger came up big as both players totaled 5 points apiece.

Rhi Williams (3), Maylie Stout (2), and Aubrey Cole (1) collected the remaining points for the Jr. Lady Cyclones.

Liberty Bell……17

TAD collected the tournament championship and conference title in strong fashion as the Jr. Lady Cyclones fought off a tough Liberty Bell Jr. Lady Patriot team by a 23-17 score.

Marlee Mathena was once again up to the task as she once again led the way to the hardware netting 10 points in the deciding game.

Kayelyn Nave tallied 4 points in the win as well while Reiley Whitson chipped in with 3 points.

Putting the finishing touches on the way to victory was Mollie Johnson and Abbie Crigger who registered 2 points apiece.

The Jr. Lady Cyclones finished with an impressive overall record of 15-2.
