Shirley Ann Davis McKinney

Shirley Ann Davis McKinney, 64, of Elizabethton, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019, at Bristol Regional Hospital after an extended illness. She was born January 23, 1955 in Johnson City to the late Cecil B. and Mamree Melva Miller Davis.
Mrs. McKinney was a graduate of Unicoi County High School and was a homemaker. Her hobby was quilting. She was a beloved member of the community and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Joyce Davis.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jessica McKinney; her grandchildren, Rickey McKinney, Aubrielle Quillin and Lucas McKinney; her brothers, Van and Bob Davis; and her special friends and family, Debbie Hyder, Wanda Hyder, Sue Jones and Janice Bennett Harrell.
Funeral services for Shirley Ann Davis McKinney will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ted Lewis officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, in the Street Cemetery (Oak Hill). Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick McKinney, Nolan “Smitty” Smith, David Nidiffer, Ed Miller, Ted Lewis and Don Stamper. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to William Valdez, Paul Jones, Mark Miller, the staff of the ICU of Johnson City Medical Center and the staff of the 5th Floor and ICU of Bristol Regional Hospital. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence of Wanda Hyder.
