Rachel Larson, 51, of Rochester, N.Y., passed away February 25, 2019, after a battle with an aggressive leukemia.
Rachel was born in Elizabethton. She was a 1986 graduate of Elizabethton High School and a 1990 graduate of UT at Knoxville. She worked at Community Solar Catalyst at Green Spark Energy in New York.
She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Harvey.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Larson; her daughter, Addie, and son, Harry; her mother and brother, Libby and Bryon Harvey, as well as her aunt, Carolyn Welch and children.
A service was held in Rochester, N.Y., on March 10 for her friends and family up North. A celebration of her life will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elizabethton where Rachel attended when she lived in Elizabethton. The date is unsure at the present.
