CHURCH HILL — Geneva G. Phillips, 85, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019.
Geneva was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Dewey and Etta Oliver Grindstaff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Phillips; a sister, Eudina Bordeaux; and a brother, Mac Grindstaff.
Geneva was a member of First Baptist Church, Church Hill.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Phillips; a son, Bo (Gena) Phillips; grandchildren, Rebecca and Emma Phillips; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 19, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Tri-Cities Funeral Home. The graveside service will immediately follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Pastor Gary Gerhardt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International, Church Hill/Mt. Carmel Camp #41018, P.O. Box 846, Church Hill, TN – in her memory.
