An ARM Fundraiser Extravaganza will be held Saturday, April 6, at 6 p.m. at Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Highway.
Performing during the concert will be the ETSU Mandolin Orchestra and Lifted.
The ETSU Mandolin Orchestra, consisting of the upright bass, mandocello, mandola, mandolin and guitars, performs throughout the area as a function of this ETSU class. The group, Lifted, consists of Loretta Bowers, Fred Goodwin, Tony Rominger and Rusty Melton. These local seasoned musicians always produce outstanding and inspiring music.
The concert is free, however, a love offering for ARM will be collected at the concert to assist with the needs at the food pantry.
Assistance and Resource Ministry has served qualifying Carter Countians in need of food and clothing for last 25 years. ARM serves 500-600 families each month.
