Dorothy O’Dell of Bluff City, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, from the Courtyards Assisted Living in Johnson City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl O’Dell; two sisters, Ruby Carrier and Rhoda “Bea” Lowe; and one niece, Judy Scoggins.
Dorothy was a dedicated homemaker, mother and wife. She was a member of Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church and also attended Bluff City First Christian Church. She loved to travel with her husband and family and loved going to the beach.
