Investigators are seeking the public’s help on information about a robbery occurring at Shorty’s Market located at 2957 Highway 107 in Limestone.

According to Washington County Sheriff Ed Graybeal, an unknown male suspect, dressed in black clothing with a silver mask and gloves, approached store owners as they were closing the store for the evening pointing a gun and demanding money from the safe.

An undetermined amount of cash was taken.

No one was injured but one of the owners was taken to the hospital to be checked out.

Surveillance cameras captured an image of the man, who was armed with a pistol. The man left the store in an unknown vehicle traveling in the direction of the Greene County line.
