Michael Keith “Pinky” Blevins

Michael Keith “Pinky” Blevins, 58, of Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019, at his residence following an extended illness. He was born June 8, 1960 in Elizabethton.
Mike was a former employee of Carter County Road Department and millwright and jobs for various companies.
Mike loved his kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Kyte, and his grandparents, Clark and Bessie Blevins.
Survivors include the love of his life, Deborah Renner; his sons, Mikey (Ashley) Blevins and Mitchell (Savanna) Blevins; step-daughters, Chastity Renner and Tammy Johnson; step-son, Edward Renner; grandchildren, Brayden and Madelyn Blevins and Connor and Camryn Blevins; step-grandchildren, Tiffany, Siera, Kelsey, Dylan, Makalia, Samantha (“Big Red”), Braylin, Brody and Jadda; step-great-grandchildren, Cooper, Sky, Kingsley and Karsyn; and his sisters, Karen Gentry, Debbie Scott and Malena Kyte Stresemann.
The graveside service for Michael Keith “Pinky” Blevins will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, in the Blevins Cemetery with the Rev. Willie Campbell officiating. Interment will follow the service. The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the graveside service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Harold Grooms and Keith Jenkins, the nursing staff at Quality of Life, the staff of Amedisys Hospice and the doctors and staff at Vanderbilt Hospital.
