Kaylee Bowers was selected as Lions club student of the year scholarship winner. Elizabethton Lions Club honored one high school student from each of the 5 schools within the county as a student of the month. The students of the month were asked to write an essay on “why community service is important.” Out of the five finalists Kaylee was chosen by the club as the winner and received a 500 dollar scholarship.
