The first annual Back to School Bash Bass Tournament is set to take place Saturday, June 29 at the Fish Springs Marina in Hampton.

Fifteen-year-old Zeb Roberts said he organized the bass tournament in order to support the children who need the bash the most, while also furthering his passion for fishing as a sport form his time with Elizabethton High School’s fishing team.

Blast-off for the tournament will begin at 7 a.m. that morning, and the tournament will go until the weigh-in at 3 that afternoon.
