Modern Woodmen of America in Elizabethton recently donated $2,500 to Doe River Gorge through a matching fund project.

The Matching Fund Program offers Modern Woodmen members nationwide the chance to show their support for a community cause or organization by holding fundraisers. These fundraising projects contribute $10.8 million to community needs nationwide each year.

“The community truly came together to support a local need,” says Donna Bare, local Modern Woodmen representative. “That support is what it’s all about.”
