Pastor installation scheduled Sunday at Redeemer Lutheran

Rev. Mark Kophamer will be installed as the new pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Sunday, Aug. 11, at 3 p.m.
His installation will be conducted by the Regional Vice-President Missouri Synod Rev. Gilbert Pingle, and other local pastors. A reception will follow the service.
Rev. Kophamer graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1977 and Concordia Theological Seminary in 1989. He served as Pastor at Zion Lutheran in Garland, Neb., and at Immanuel Lutheran, Seward, Neb., until 1999 and then Immanuel Lutheran, Seward, Neb., until 2015.
He is married to Sharon Kophamer and they have five sons and eight grandchildren.
Rev. Kophamer will also remain employed as a Mental Health Associate at Mountain Youth Academy, Mountain City.
The public is invited to attend the service and reception.
