Playing the net… Lady Cyclones look sharp in mixed jamboree

The Elizabethton Lady Cyclones traveled to the Topper Palace on Tuesday to take part in the Three Rivers and Big 6 Conference volleyball jamboree and left head coach Leslee Bradley feeling pretty good as the Lady Cyclones head into the start of their 2019 season.

From laser serves to crisp passes, the Lady Cyclones took the one game they were scheduled to play against the David Crockett Lady Pioneers taking the game 25-14.

It was pretty evident from the onset that the height that Bradley carries on this year’s squad was playing havoc on Crockett’s ability to get the ball back across the net.

Led by Kaitlin Bailey, Hannah Boster, and Morgan Smith–all seniors on this year’s team, the Lady Cyclones forced the issue up front.

The Lady Cyclones take the court for the season’s first game on Monday at home against Daniel Boone as the freshmen team hit the court first at 4:30 pm followed by the junior varsity, and varsity.
