Pull those flags… Flag football league has three tight games to open season

The Elizabethton/Carter County Boys & Girls Club and Witten Huddle flag football league saw a great start to its 2019 season on Saturday as the three teams played two one-hour games each leaving it all out on the field.
With flying dives for flags and some great cuts on running plays, the kids came to play and as a result, the fans were treated to some great football from these young athletes.
The games were played at T.A. Dugger Jr. High in Brown-Childress Stadium. There will be more action this coming Saturday beginning at 9 am and 10 am at Citizens Bank Stadium.
