Susan D. Rutherford, 55, of Bluff City, Tenn., went peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at Johnson City Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father, Ray DeLoach; two spouses, Ronnie Rutherford and Mark Booher; and her maternal grandparents, Harry and Nina Shell.
She is survived by her mother, Carol Buchanan; brother, Doug DeLoach and wife Beth; sister, Teresa Booher and husband Jesse; nephew, Lucas DeLoach; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; her family at Elizabethton Housing Agency; her friends at BTES; and her dogs, “Zip” and “Blaze.”
To honor Susan’s wishes, a cremation will take place with a private memorial service to be held at a later date.
