Rebecca “Becky” Elliott, 66, of Johnson City, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord and her loved ones that passed before her on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Johnson City Medical Center. Becky was born in Carter County to the late Dewey and Mary Claudia Bullock Rasnick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Cassie Elliott; two brothers, Stanley Rasnick and Kenneth Rasnick; and two sisters, Shirley Ellis and Nancy Bradley.
Becky was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Highsprings. Becky enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her wonderful memories include her loving and devoted husband of 42 years, Gerald Elliott, of the home; her children, Phillip Grant and fiancée Tammy of Elizabethton, Adam Elliot of Trenton, Fla., and Jeremy Elliott and wife Amanda of Johnson City; her grandchildren, Ashley Grant, Adli Elliott, Joshua Grant, Amelia Elliott, Cory Elliott and Penelope Elliott; and two great-grandchildren, Marley Grant and Addy Grant. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped with Becky’s care and those who have sent thoughts and prayers to the family during this difficult time. Your kindness will be remembered always.
