Fall trimester registration for new students previously admitted to TCAT Elizabethton will be held Tuesday, Sept. 3, at the Main Campus, 426 Highway 91 north in Elizabethton.

This trimester new students include the fifth Tennessee Promise class and adult learners in the Tennessee Reconnect program. Promise and Reconnect are the state’s groundbreaking initiatives for students to attend college tuition-free as they pursue Associates degrees, technical certificates, and diplomas, or earn college credit for transfer to universities.

Credit earned in the Tennessee Transfer Pathways program is guaranteed to transfer to Tennessee’s public universities and to 23 private universities that have signed onto the program.

Approximately 1,000 students who attend TCAT Elizabethton each year commute to classes daily from their residence in Carter, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi, and Washington counties.

TCAT Elizabethton is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education and governed by the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR).

The College System of Tennessee, governed by TBR, is Tennessee’s largest higher education system, which includes 13 community colleges and 27 colleges of applied technology, and TN eCampus, providing “job-ready” programs to students across the state, country, and world.
