Mr. and Mrs. Alfred King, 700 West Riverside Drive, Elizabethton, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. They were married August 13, 1954 in Roan Mountain. Mrs. King is the former Margaret Winters. The couple have five children, Beverly, Terry, LaDonna, Tammy and the late Chris. They have nine grandchildren, Jared, Ryan, Kasey, Karson, Dakota, Mikey, Mitchell, Laura and Chrissie. They also have 12 greatgrandchildren, Kelly Marie, Grayson, Regan, Liam, Jack, Finn, Connor, Camryn, Brayden, Madelyn, Christopher and Ivy. Alfred was director of the Elizabethton Boys Club. Margaret was a cook for T.A. Dugger Junior High School.
