Anna Lee Babb, 85, 128 Horseshoe Drive, Johnson City, entered into the joys of the Lord on Friday, September 6, 2019, at 5:15 p.m.
Anna was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister, loved dearly by all who knew her. She was a daughter of the late William Harrison Hughes and Nettie Garland Hughes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Arch Crawford Babb; two brothers, William H. Hughes Jr. and Melvin L. Cook; and a sister, Leona Hazelwood.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Greg Babb and his wife Misty, and Mark Babb and his wife Kristen; one daughter, Elaine Bogart and her husband Doug, all of Johnson City; sisters, Thelma Arnold and her husband George of Johnson City, and Phyllis Sardi and her husband Bill of Cape Coral, Fla.; special sister-in-law, Gladys Weaver of Johnson City; seven grandchildren, Chad, Mindy, Kimberly, Brittney, Andy, Nicholas and Lindsey; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Weston; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, September 9, at Monte Vista Memorial Park with the Rev. Nathan Jennings officiating and special music by Chad Bogart. Family and friends are asked to gather at the graveside by 2:50 p.m. The family wishes to express special thanks to Amedisys Hospice of Elizabethton.
