Linda Holt Hill

Linda Holt Hill, 75, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 13, 2019, at Signature Health Care of Elizabethton. Linda was born in Carter County to the late Guy and Elizabeth Davis Holt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Marshall Hill.
Linda was a homemaker and a member of Unity Fellowship Church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and volunteered at the Red Cross.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Lana Abel Montgomery, of the home; two grandchildren, Brandon Montgomery and wife Briona of Elizabethton and Melinda Montgomery, also of Elizabethton; one sister, Karen Richards and husband Jimmy of Hampton; one brother, Ernie Holt Sr. and wife Becky of Elizabethton; and several nephews.
A service to honor the life of Linda Holt Hill will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, September 16, at Unity Fellowship Church with Pastor Greg Wagner officiating. Music will be under the direction of Barbara Trent. The family will receive friends at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, prior to the service, or at the residence of her daughter at any time. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Brandon Montgomery, Ernie Holt Sr., Ernie Holt Jr., Hunter Nelson, Josh Taylor and Ronald Ritchie. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Richards and Robert Montgomery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at 10:15 a.m. at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, to go in procession. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Signature Health Care and also the staff of Amedysis Home Health for the love and care shown to Linda during her illness.
