The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) has announced that the Blevins Road access point to the Watauga River will be closed to all fishing/boating activities on Tuesday, Sept. 24. This includes kayaking, fly fishing and local fishing. The closure is due to the ongoing construction of the fishing pier.
