Chyenne Brooke Carr of Elizabethton and Cody Keith Buck of Johnson City were married Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Meredith Valley Farm at 5:30 p.m. The ceremony was officiated by Minister Todd Wolfe.
The bride is the daughter of Lori and Jamie Carr, Elizabethton. She is the granddaughter of Bonnie and Don Pruitt, Paulette and James Carr and Barbara and Roy Hill.
The groom is the son of Patti and Keith Buck, Johnson City. He is the grandson of Ardith Curde and Barbara Buck, and the late Herbert Curde and David Buck, for whom a song was dedicated from Cody (Just Like You.)
The bride rode in on her horse, “Ava.” She was escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
The bride wore a strapless lace trumpet wedding dress featuring a fitted lace bodice that falls into a soft flowing tulle skirt, topped with a sparkling sash.
For her headpiece, she wore a veil borrowed from her sister, Taylor Jaynes.
Flower girl was Jordyn Barnett.
Ring bearer was Brayln Banner.
Tiffany Kyviakidis attended the bride as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Shannon Banner, Britni Beasley, Hailey Austin, Taylor Jaynes and Brittney Barnett.
Daniel Wilson served as best man.
Groomsmen were Bradley Roberts, Josh Bennett, James Babb, Jason Bowling and Josh Lyons.
Following a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple resides in Elizabethton.
PRE-NUPTIAL EVENTS
A pre-nuptial wedding shower was given at Central Community Christian Church hosted by Mikki Morrell, Patti Buck, Lori Carr and Gayle Broyles.
A bachelorette party was hosted by Lori Carr at Applebee’s for the bridesmaids and bride.
